Jim Kring, CEO, JKI:
My prediction: 2025 will be the year that LabVIEW begins to take off as a real programming language. 2026 is when we hit exponential growth.
Here is a future I see. What do you see?
- Jake AI Coding Assistant makes working with LabVIEW even easier and produces better code/systems (http://jki.net/jake)
- Tools for viewing LabVIEW Code in the web browser emerge, enabling interoperability with GitHub and much more.
- Running LabVIEW code/tests/builds in docker containers for CI/CD takes off
- A text-based representation of LabVIEW emerges, enabling interoperability with text-based programming tools.
- Graphical programming applications become broader than hardware test and measurement.
